Juan Manuel Vaquer President Latin America Dupont Argentina
Juan M. Vaquer is the President of DuPont Latin America since October 2015.
Previously, he served as President of DuPont Argentina, Associate General Counsel and Vice President Legal - Latin America. He joined DuPont Argentina as a lawyer in 1990. After working for 2 years in the Legal Department, he was appointed Legal Manager for DuPont Argentina.
In 1995 he relocated to Geneva, Switzerland where he held the position as European Counsel for Lycra, AFS and Non Wovens till 1998.
Upon his return to the region, apart from his role of DuPont Argentina Legal Manager, he was named President in DuPont Chile for 1 year.
In 2001 he became Legal Director for South America. One year later he assumed the position of DuPont Argentina Vice President and in 2003 was designated Legal Vice President Latin America having responsibility in all legal matters for South and Central America, including Mexico.
Born February 10, 1962 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he graduated from Buenos Aires University in 1984.
In 1988 he mastered in International and Comparative Law, Southern Methodist University, Dallas Texas.
Juan Vaquer was President of the American Chamber of Argentina from August 2013 to June 2016, Vice President of AACCLA (Association of American Chambers in Latin America). He is a member of the Executive Committees of IDEA. (Institute of for Business Development of Argentina) and of CEADS (Argentine Business Council for Sustainable Development).
